Exprime-toi! pour la sant\u00e9<\/a> is a social art and science outreach project led by Le Tremplin 16-30 and Neurosciences Sherbrooke. Its goal is to provide young people aged 16 to 35 with a space to reflect, discuss, and express themselves on issues about mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is based on the belief that art is a powerful tool for supporting mental health, as well as an accessible means of promoting expression, reflection, and awareness. The initiative focuses on artistic and creative practices to address \u201ceveryday\u201d mental health, rather than relying solely on traditional intervention approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the project is a collective creative process involving four groups of young people from diverse backgrounds, spanning several months. Participants explore their realities, questions, and experiences, which they then transform into works of art. The groups meet about twice a month. Each is supported by a coordinator and a professional artist, who together facilitate the creative process while respecting the group\u2019s aspirations and dynamics. The approach is resolutely inclusive, welcoming, and values the contribution of all, regardless of age, educational background, or social status. The process culminates in a free show open to the public. The performances are accompanied by speeches highlighting the links between the works presented, the creative journeys of the participants, and the issues addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several editions of the project have been carried out over the years. Specifically, for the 2026 edition, in collaboration with the RBC Center for University Expertise in Mental Health at the University of Sherbrooke, a group of higher education students is being trained to address student mental health through the creation of a collective work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
