The results identify anxiety, perfectionism and procrastination as factors influencing doctoral perseverance, and raising awareness of this reality as an important avenue of solution.&nbsp;These results appeal to different target audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Doctoral students&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>It is therefore relevant for doctoral students to recognize how these factors are linked and play a role in their motivation, sense of self-efficacy and, ultimately, perseverance.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Thesis supervisors&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab Il importe aussi pour les directeurs et directrices de th\u00e8se de reconna\u00eetre quels sont les signes de perfectionnisme et de procrastination chez les \u00e9tudiants.es, puis de discuter ouvertement de leur impact avec ceux-ci.
