One of the obligations under this law is to offer training on sexual violence to students and staff. Here are a few examples.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ensemble pour pr\u00e9venir et combattre les violences \u00e0 caract\u00e8re sexuel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten establishments in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uquebec.ca\/reseau\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">r\u00e9seau de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a> have pooled their efforts to offer distance learning courses for the whole of the network&#8217;s university community. To date, four training courses have been developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensemble, pour pr\u00e9venir et combattre les VACS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensemble, pour contrer la banalisation des VACS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensemble, pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur les normes sociales sexu\u00e9es et genr\u00e9es<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensemble, b\u00e2tissons une culture du respect et du consentement<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.preveniretcombattrevacs.ca\/course\/view.php?id=7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ensemble pour pr\u00e9venir et combattre les violences \u00e0 caract\u00e8re sexuel<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Formations sur le sexisme et les violences \u00e0 caract\u00e8re sexuel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/harcelement.uqam.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bureau d&#8217;intervention et de pr\u00e9vention en mati\u00e8re de harc\u00e8lement<\/a>&nbsp;offers several sexual violence prevention courses for specific groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Specific training for teaching staff: &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uqam-ca.libcal.com\/event\/3642577\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Incivilit\u00e9, conflit et harc\u00e8lement en contexte d\u2019enseignement: pr\u00e9venir et intervenir<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 2-hour <a href=\"https:\/\/harcelement.uqam.ca\/ateliers-pour-les-membres-de-la-communaute-de-luqam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">session<\/a> for members of the UQAM community on the notion of the active witness and attitude during an unveiling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.preveniretcombattrevacs.ca\/course\/view.php?id=7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Formations sur le sexisme et les violences \u00e0 caract\u00e8re sexuel<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It takes all of us: Mandatory Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention Training <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Universit\u00e9 Concordia<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Concordia University has introduced mandatory training on the recognition and prevention of sexual violence. Three modules are offered to students, faculty and staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introductory module: this module provides a definition and examples of sexual violence, as well as information and tools focusing on consent, bystander intervention and survivor support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Systems of Oppression and Intersectionality module: this module focuses on one of the root causes of sexual violence: systemic power and intersectionality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognizing Attitudes, Changing Behaviours module: this module addresses the normalization of attitudes and behaviors that encourage, minimize or trivialize sexual violence. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-left wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/fr\/conduite\/violence-sexuelle\/formation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">It takes all of us <\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pr\u00e9venir les violences \u00e0 caract\u00e8re sexuel dans notre communaut\u00e9 universitaire<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Universit\u00e9 Laval&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Universit\u00e9 Laval&#8217;s mandatory training course on sexual violence includes several modules available online and is aimed at the entire university community.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pr\u00e9venir les violences \u00e0 caract\u00e8re sexuel dans notre communaut\u00e9 universitaire (45 minutes): this module introduces Universit\u00e9 Laval&#8217;s Policy to Prevent and Combat Sexual Violence and key definitions, such as consent and sexual violence.
