{"id":3909,"date":"2023-11-06T16:21:05","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T21:21:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stationsme.ca\/ressource-personnel\/la-brigade-re-pairs\/"},"modified":"2025-01-17T08:52:53","modified_gmt":"2025-01-17T13:52:53","slug":"la-brigade-re-pairs","status":"publish","type":"member-resource","link":"https:\/\/stationsme.ca\/en\/staff-members\/tools-for-staff-members\/la-brigade-re-pairs\/","title":{"rendered":"The Re-Pairs Brigade at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UQTR <a href=\"https:\/\/oraprdnt.uqtr.uquebec.ca\/pls\/public\/gscw031?owa_no_site=5950&amp;owa_no_fiche=84\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Re-Pairs Brigade<\/a> is made up of trained students with the following mandate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Offer active listening and support to people experiencing mental health challenges;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify students who are vulnerable or experiencing psychological distress and refer them to the appropriate resources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and lead prevention and positive mental health promotion activities on the Trois-Rivi\u00e8res campus;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide a presence at student activities and festive events (active VACS witness and harm reduction)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three training courses are compulsory to join the Brigade:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sentinelles (suicide prevention &#8211; 6 hours)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active witness (prevention of sexual violence &#8211; 3 hours)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brigade-specific training (3 hours)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brigade members present on campus or at university events wear a black jacket with the Re-Pairs logo. To reach them, you can meet with them on weekdays, in a room specifically dedicated to them, or via e-mail or their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100089978425023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Facebook<\/a> page (a place to disseminate information on mental health and promote their services and organized activities).
