Aider sans filtre<\/a> is an initiative aimed at supporting the well-being of people aged 12 to 29 who have a support role or who are close to people living with a mental health problem. Based on the principle of peer support, the idea is to train students to act as mental health peer support workers (known as “vigie”) directly in the campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These actions are supported by outreach and support officers who are responsible for recruiting, training and supporting young caregivers in mental health. They are also responsible for awareness-raising initiatives in their communities (workshops, kits, meetings, etc.). Currently, some 35 outreach workers are trained for this role across the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
