This guide<\/a> helps you better understand what clear, free, and voluntary consent means in the context of psychoactive substance use, while acknowledging potential gray areas. It encourages you to reflect on how substances affect judgment, communication, and decision-making, while providing concrete guidelines to promote mutual enjoyment. It also highlights the importance of shared responsibility and respecting each partner\u2019s boundaries for a more harmonious relationship, even when substances are involved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s easy to use! We offer three scenarios, each featuring a fictional character who is about to have sex while using drugs (legal or illegal). There\u2019s Val\u00e9rie, who\u2019s having a one-night stand; Noah, a young teenager at a party with friends; and L\u00e9on, who\u2019s at a \u201cParty and Play\u201d (PnP) event. You can choose the scenario that best matches your situation. The tool then provides a series of questions to ask your partner before, during, and after sex to promote consent and pleasure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
