Since 2017, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/document\/cs\/P-22.1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Act to prevent and fight sexual violence in higher education institutions<\/a> obliges, among other things, institutions to adopt policies to combat sexual violence, to provide training for students and staff and to set up awareness-raising activities. In 2023, the Department of Higher Education published a <a href=\"https:\/\/stationsme.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Rapport-mise-oeuvre-Loi-22-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn-contenu.quebec.ca\/cdn-contenu\/adm\/min\/education\/publications-adm\/soutien-etablissements\/Rapport-mise-oeuvre-Loi-22-1.pdf\"><\/a>on the implementation of the law.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, various measures have been taken to support this commitment in higher education institutions.
