This training program on student mental health developed at Université Laval aims to:
- Familiarize yourself with the main concepts related to student mental health
- Raising awareness of the factors that can influence its maintenance or cause distress
- Understanding and defining your role with students in difficulty
- Tools for adopting best practices on a daily basis
- Contribute to the creation of healthy, safe and inclusive environments
It features narrated presentations and role-playing exercises divided into 4 modules. Although the course is designed as a sequence, you can explore its content at your own pace and in any order.
- Module 1 : What is mental health? (20 min.)
- Module 2 : Mental health profile of the student community (20 min.)
- Module 3 : Portrait of a diverse student community (30 min.)
- Module 4 : Recognizing and responding to distress (30 min.)

This training was presented as part of the Journées de transfert de connaissances sur la santé mentale étudiante, organized by ISMÉ in March 2024.
