The event offers a unique experience where humor serves as a tool for addressing mental health issues, while fostering dialogue, reflection, and well-being. At the heart of the concept, three up-and-coming comedians take the stage in turn to share routines drawn from their personal experiences and reflections. In the second half of the show, an interactive activity invites the audience to engage with the comedians, share their impressions, and delve deeper into the themes discussed. The goal is to extend the discussion in a supportive and participatory spirit, while also taking the opportunity to highlight the psychosocial services available on campus. The comedians’ performances explore, through a perspective that is both sensitive and playful, a variety of themes related to mental health and the student experience. For example:

  • stress and anxiety
  • romantic and interpersonal relationships
  • addiction
  • body image and self-esteem
  • challenges related to career choices and financial security
  • sexual orientation
  • as well as social issues such as harassment, sexual violence, and the impact of social media on well-being

These themes, explored through humor, help normalize discussions that are often difficult, while creating a space where the audience can see themselves reflected and reflect on their own experiences.
