This article highlights the potential of popular science podcasts as an effective tool for disseminating knowledge about mental health among the student population. Drawing on the experience of the Être et Liberté podcast, it offers concrete recommendations for implementing this type of project, particularly regarding strategy, hosting, collaborations, and dissemination. Finally, it emphasizes the key role of the next generation of researchers in knowledge mobilization, while stressing the importance of collaborative work to ensure the sustainability of these initiatives.
Science popularization podcasts are therefore a particularly effective medium for reaching diverse audiences—especially those aged 18 to 29 and students—while also providing accessible, free, and long-lasting content.
