This webinar from the Centre de recherche universitaire sur les jeunes et les familles looks at stigma, its effects on sexually and gender-diverse young people and how to deal with it. In the first part of this presentation, the speaker discusses what a stigmatized identity is, and how LGBTQ+ teens and young adults deal with this stigma and its consequences (discrimination, bullying, etc.). In the second part, the speaker focuses on ways to combat this stigmatization in the living environments of LGBTQ+ youth, intervention programs and social policies.
