The INSPQ’s La prévention des surdoses, l’affaire de toutes et de tous! training program aims to break down the stigma attached to people at risk of overdose. Offered asynchronously online, its objectives are to:

  • Acquire new knowledge on opioid consumption and la  polyintoxication
  • Distinguish between behaviors, attitudes or words that have an impact on the stigmatization of people at risk of overdose.
  • Use a professional approach to build and maintain trust with people at risk of overdose.

Two training paths are offered to better meet learners’ needs.

  1. Welcome: includes basic notions and is aimed at staff and administration members (duration: 2 hours)
  2. Intervention: enables health and social services network and community workers to update their knowledge of addiction (duration: 3h30)
