A member of the John Abbott College student services team accompanies the security officer when a call comes in requiring rapid intervention with students showing signs of psychological distress. This team approach enables us to take better care of the individual(s) in difficulty. It should also be noted that this same member of the Student Services team provides crisis intervention training to all the school’s security officers every semester.
