In the autumn of 2025, the Service aux étudiant.es et à la communauté at Cégep de St-Jean-sur-Richelieu created a new position to replace an existing psychologist position that had become vacant. This is a student support counsellor who, using a field-based approach, acts as a liaison and prevention officer, both internally and externally, while ensuring targeted referrals and helping to enrich the student experience.
