The Sentinelle training program helps participants recognize signs of distress in their community and refer people to the appropriate support services. It is aimed at people who wish to play an active role in suicide prevention, without necessarily being an intervention professional, i.e. those who:

  • are likely to come into contact with suicidal people through their work, voluntary activities or community roles, including teachers;
  • maintain a relationship of trust with people in their community;
  • volunteer to play a proactive role in preventing suicide;
  • want to be supported by a ring to play a preventive role.
