The project Constellation uses an approach WITH, BY, and FOR students to promote healthy, equal, and respectful intimate relationships among young people. The project has two main parts :
The first component aims to raise awareness among the entire college community by offering messages that are sensitive to diverse realities (sexual and gender diversity, regional and cultural) and promote the benefits of seeking help. It includes :
- Eight podcast episodes and a social media campaign.
- Five ready-to-use awareness-raising activities designed for emergency response personnel.
The second component focuses on supporting individuals who experience violence in intimate relationships or who question whether their relationships are abusive. It includes :
- An asynchronous online training course on the subject, intended for students and staff members of college institutions. The training course teaches participants how to receive and respond to disclosures and, where appropriate, offer appropriate support.
- The establishment of a brigade of students acting as active witnesses. These students become a safe forum for anyone wishing to share their concerns about their intimate relationships or those of a loved one, receive advice, obtain support, or be referred to specialized resources.
