The aim of the Zenstudies program is to prevent students making the transition from secondary school to college from dropping out of school by reducing the symptoms of anxiety and depression that hinder educational success. It provides educational tools for college teachers and practitioners.
The program is divided into three components with distinct objectives:
- Zenstudies 1: Universal prevention program targeting the entire student population for use in the classroom by teachers. It includes 8 activities lasting a total of 60 to 75 minutes.
- Zenstudies 2: Selective targeted prevention program consisting of two one-hour workshops on anxiety and depression. It is designed to be used by mixed teams of teachers and lecturers.
- Zenstudies 3: Targeted prevention program aimed at students living with anxiety and in need of intervention. This program includes 10 meetings of about 1 h 30 each, led by guest speakers.
For each of these components, a moderator’s manual and documents for participants are available.
