From November 4 to 22, 2024, the Observatoire sur la santé mentale étudiante en enseignement supérieur (OSMÉES) conducted the Quebec National Survey on Student Mental Health in Higher Education and its Determinants: Time for You. The objectives of the survey were to establish a portrait of student mental health and its evolution over time, to generate subpopulation portraits that take into account the diversity of student populations, and to assess the need for assistance, access to, and use of psychosocial support services.

A total of 77 higher education institutions and 32,212 students participated. The full report, highlights and webinar presenting the results of this survey are presented below.

The survey results were presented as part of SME activities on 9 December 2026.
