This report presents the results of a study aimed at better understanding the attitudes, practices and perceptions of college teaching staff towards the inclusion of students with disabilities (SWD). It identifies the factors that promote or hinder the adoption of an inclusive teaching approach, as well as the role of social perceptions of disability in this openness.

The study is based on an online questionnaire distributed to 185 teachers from 13 cegeps in Quebec, as well as group interviews with 18 teachers, which provided further insight into the survey results. The results show openness to inclusion, but difficulties remain, particularly with regard to implementation.
