The Nomie web application promotes social networking in college and university classrooms. It’s a tool that teaching staff can use to get to know their students better, but also to enable them to bond together and encourage group cohesion and communication.
It works simply. The teacher creates the group on Nomie and invites students to fill in their profile using a fun, inclusive questionnaire. Students can then find out who’s in their group and take part in a variety of activities triggered by their teacher to encourage real-time interaction. What’s more, Nomie offers advanced classroom management features, such as team formation and tracking, attendance monitoring and class climate management, enriching every class with mutual discovery and deep connections.
A subscription is required to use the application.
