The Plan d’action sur la santé mentale étudiante en enseignement supérieur 2021-2026 aims to support institutions in implementing practices and measures that promote well-being and mental health among the student population. It is broken down into four areas of intervention, accompanied by specific measures designed to act on various determinants of mental health.

  • A national concertation to benefit student populations and contribute to a cultural change in mental health.
  • Mental health-friendly campuses to enable student populations to thrive in environments that are healthy, safe and conducive to positive mental health.
  • Supporting the diverse needs and characteristics of the student population to prevent the onset of symptoms of psychological distress and mental disorders.
  • Accessibility to mental health services for members of the student community to increase accessibility to services and reduce access delays.
