This reflective tool is designed for higher education establishments wishing to take a look at actions or measures from a holistic view of the factors recognized as influencing student mental health. It has been developed in collaboration with the Direction de santé publique de Montréal, which initiated work and produced a report aimed at identifying these factors.

More specifically, the reflexive tool offers an exercise that can support establishments in a variety of ways, including:

  • Draw up a portrait of the measures implemented in the institution and build a shared vision of the strengths and measures to be developed to act on all the factors influencing student mental health;
  • Identify measures that the school would like to introduce or improve;
  • Raise awareness among school staff of the importance of their role in supporting student mental health;
  • Feed the construction or updating of an action plan.
