Les Rencontres FOCUS are group workshops for students with a diagnosis of attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD). These are four 90-minute sessions, led by professionals, providing an opportunity to learn and share on various topics.
- The impact of ADHD on academic careers and everyday life
- Study and organization strategies
- Motivation in the context of study
- Anxiety, transition periods and mental health
A group is specifically formed for graduate students living with ADHD.
A one-hour conference is also available for people who have not been diagnosed with attention deficit disorder, but who have questions. The aim is to present the events and dispel the myths so that people can take an informed look at their situation.
Here is also an article from the Observatoire sur la réussite en enseignement supérieur (ORES) presenting the results of the evaluation of FOCUS Rencontre as a group intervention for students with ADHD.
