The Programme Blues aims to prevent and reduce depressive symptoms at college. Developed and tested in the United States by young people aged 13 to 19, it has been implemented in three Quebec secondary schools and an evaluation at the Cégep de Lanaudière.
Blues is part of a three-level intervention model.
- Individual intervention: high intensity;
- Targeted group intervention for at-risk students, rapid and effective response;
- Universal intervention throughout the school offered to all students, universal and proactive prevention.
Boscoville is offering support for the implementation of the Blues programme at colleges.
