This research report presents the results of a study to document the implementation and use of an application including a conversational agent (Ali) and a toolbox, both designed to support mental health and academic support among college students. The results of this study are presented in two documents :
- Volume 1 documents the satisfaction and perceived effectiveness of the conversational agent.
- Volume 2 identifies the right elements for integrating a conversational agent.
The survey was conducted among 648 students in two Quebec CEGEPs between January and March 2022. The dimensions studied are: socio-demographic characteristics, downloading and general appreciation of the application, themes covered, toolbox, perceived effects and demand for human assistance.
The Observatoire sur la réussite en enseignement supérieur (ORES) provides a summary of the results of this study.

The results were presented at the Journées annuelles de transfert de connaissances sur la santé mentale étudiante, organized by ISMÉ in March 2024.
