The HORS-PISTE program at the RBC Centre for University Expertise in Mental Health is based on a positive global approach. It aims to help students develop their psychosocial and socio-emotional skills, and to create healthy, caring environments. In this program, various tools are made available to establishments, such as an early anxiety management program known as the HORS-PISTE – Expedition program.

It aim to prevent the emergence of anxiety disorders in people with certain risk factors. More specifically, participants will discover how to expand their comfort zone by learning to :

  • Recognize sensations
  • Reformulate your thoughts to make them more helpful
  • Regulate your emotions to live better with them
  • Adopt new behaviours: take action!
  • Adopt supportive lifestyle habits
  • Use stress management strategies
  • Nurture and make the most of your social network
  • Use your strengths to contribute to the progress of other group members.

Facilitation and intervention materials, as well as a two-hour training course offered by the RBC Centre (required to deliver this workshop in your establishment) are available.
