The self-management workshops offered to Université Laval students are the result of a collaboration between the Relief Research Chair in Mental Health, Self-Management and Work at Université Laval and organization Relief – le chemin de la santé mentale.

Since the summer of 2022, five cohorts of students, four of them specifically targeting the international student population, have had access to it. This project was the subject of research, the results of which enabled adjustments to be made from one cohort to the next.

These self-management workshops were presented as part of the Journées de transfert de connaissances sur la santé mentale étudiante, organized by ISMÉ in March 2024.

It’s a place to talk about:

  • The specific challenges of the student population, including international students, that led to the development of the workshops.
  • Workshop structure
  • Research project results and spin-offs

Speakers :

  • Zina Kharchi, Project Manager, Chaire de recherche Relief en santé mentale, autogestion et travail de l’Université Laval
  • Christine Sauvé, Project Manager – Research and Clinical Activities, Relief – Le chemin de la santé mentale
