The Thriving in Action program developed by Metropolitan University of Toronto is designed to help students improve their personal well-being and academic success by combining positive psychology strategies and effective learning techniques. The 10-week program offers a series of interactive workshops, each focusing on specific themes aimed at strengthening participants’ resilience, motivation and study skills. There is also a four-week version of this program designed for students who have been diagnosed with ADHD or who self-identify as ADHD.

Thriving in Action has been taught to 850 higher education students in Canada and the United States, and many institutions have implemented and adapted the program, including the University of Windsor, McGill University, Concordia University, Wilfred Laurier University, Centennial College and Sheridan College.
